Newport Beach Liposuction by Dr. Juris Bunkis of Orange County Plastic Surgery*

This fairly health female in her early 70's before sought a body contouring consultation with Dr. Juris Bunkis of Orange County Plastic Surgery in Newport Beach, California. She was fairly fit and ate well but could not lose her excess fat over her abdominal wall, flanks, lateral hips and thighs. Dr. Bunkis agreed to perform a liposuction on her but told her that because of her age, he would limit the suctioning to 3 liters. In actual fact, he removed 2,800 cc using a tumescent liposuction technique to minimize blood loss.
