It’s crazy to believe we’re halfway done with October and Halloween is two weeks away! Even though it’s Spooky Season, it doesn’t mean your skin should suffer the consequences. At OCPS, we carry various types of chemical peels with different strengths to allow the patients to decide which one would work best based on downtime and expected results. The ZO Glow Peel is the perfect “lunch time peel” used to treat fine lines, dull appearance, rough and dry texture while brightening skin tone. The treatment incorporates ZO Skin Health® products to cleanse, prep, and recover the skin. This is a superficial chemical peel penetrating only the epidermis, therefore there is little to no recovery time. Additionally, this peel can be done every one to two weeks, if desired.
I’ve seen beautiful results when the ZO Glow Peel has been used following a dermaplaning treatment. Dermaplaning aids in exfoliating the skin by removing dead skin cells and vellus hair, also known as “peach fuzz.” The skin is first prepped, then it’s followed by a scalpel delicately abrading the skin with light strokes. By removing the outermost layer, it has been shown to make your skin feel softer and brighter.
