This office is located in the same building as the Orange County Surgery Center, where Dr. Bunkis does all of his surgical procedures. The layout of our office allow us to perform cosmetic procedures efficiently and safely.

Our front desk staff is readily available to assist you with any last-minute paper work or questions you may have regarding your treatment.

Jo fills the role of Office Manager at Orange County Plastic Surgery, working directly with Dr. Bunkis and his team since 2016. She has almost 35 years experience in the medical field and has a passion for plastic surgery. Born and raised in California, she enjoys time with her husband, children, grandchildren and two chocolate labs.
She is compassionate, caring and helps provide a pleasant visit for all of our patients. She coordinates surgeries and will walk you through the whole process from beginning to end.
Born and raised in sunny Southern California as one of ten children, I’ve always had a passion for life and adventure. I wake up happy and blessed, embracing positive energy and kindness. I believe in paying it forward and strive to live each day with gratitude. My greatest thrill? Chasing my grandson, Ford, who keeps me running and fills my heart with love and laughter.
My journey into patient relations began personally—it took over two years and consultations with 18 plastic surgeons to find the right fit at Orange County Plastic Surgery. As a bit of a "perfectionist," I realized there are no do-overs in aesthetics. That experience renewed my confidence and deepened my respect for the transformative power of plastic surgery and the incredible surgeons I work alongside. Now, I share that journey with others, answering questions and ensuring everyone feels at ease because I know how significant this decision is.
When I’m not at work, family and friends mean everything to me, with my incredible children and grandson making each day brighter. I love swimming, biking, playing pickleball, skydiving, and gardening, along with cooking and hosting BBQs with friends. It’s this blend of experiences that keeps me grounded. I’m excited to be a part of your journey and honored to help you take these steps with confidence, positivity, and a bit of fun along the way.
I was born in Mexico but split my time growing up between Chicago and California. In high school, I took classes at both my community college and UCI to help fulfill my pre-requisites for college. I became my graduating class Valedictorian and I attended UCLA shortly thereafter. I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Latin American Studies. I am fluent in English and Spanish and am relearning Sign language at this time.
During my free time, I enjoy completing escape rooms with my fiancé, hiking, and spending time with my family. I am also a member of a running club in Santa Ana.
