Restylane® Injections In Newport Beach, Orange County, CA

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a key ingredient that keeps your skin hydrated and resilient to fine lines and wrinkles. As you age, your skin loses more HA than what is produced naturally by your body. The family of Restylane® dermal fillers is made with HA to boost skin levels and fill areas where you have lines and wrinkles. Restylane® facial filler gives you the natural, long-lasting anti-aging results you want without surgery and downtime.

Types Of Restylane® Facial Fillers

At Orange County Plastic Surgery, we offer several types of facial fillers from the Restylane® family of injectables.

Undereye Treatments With Restylane®

As you get older, your undereye area starts to look hollow, and you may develop dark circles and tiny lines. Using Restylane® under your eyes restores the youthful volume to rejuvenate your eye area.

Restylane® Lyft For Cheeks And Hands

Restylane® Lyft is a hyaluronic acid filler that is ideal for adding volume to the cheeks and hands. Aging not only reduces the key substances in your skin, but it also causes fat loss and shifting. Restylane® Lyft adds hyaluronic acid to your skin to increase the amount of water volume. For cheek treatments, the additional water volume restores contours and may soften wrinkles around the lower third of your face. Hand rejuvenation with Restylane® Lyft hides visible veins and reduces lines and wrinkles.

Restylane® Defyne And Restylane® Refyne

Smile lines, also known as nasolabial folds, are creases that develop from the outer edge of your nostrils to the outer corners of your lips. Marionette lines extend from the outer corner of your lips down to your chin and jaw. Nasolabial folds and marionette lines are the most obvious signs of aging. Restylane® Defyne and Restylane® Refyne are specially formulated with XpresHAn Technology to target these signs of aging while maintaining a natural appearance.

Restylane® Silk For The Lips

Whether you have naturally thin lips or have noticed that your lips have thinned with age, Restylane® Silk is one of the best lip fillers to consider. The hyaluronic acid not only adds fullness to your lips, but Restylane® lip filler also hydrates the skin for a supple, soft texture.

How Does Restylane® Work?

Restylane® injections contain hyaluronic acid that is suspended in a gel. The gel adds volume to your skin immediately. Over time, the hyaluronic acid binds with water to provide long-lasting results.

What Is Restylane Used For?

The Restylane® line of fillers for the face and hands address the most common and obvious signs of aging, such as:

  • Lost volume in the cheek area
  • Smile lines, also known as nasolabial folds
  • Marionette lines
  • Vertical lines above the upper lip
  • Thin lips caused by aging or natural anatomy
  • Fat loss in the hands resulting in thin skin

What Is The Procedure For Restylane®?

Restylane® requires a series of injections to evenly smooth out your wrinkles and volumize your skin. The dermal filler injection is performed with a thin needle.

Restylane® FAQ

How Long Will Restylane® Last?

Restylane® provides wrinkle reduction and contouring benefits for up to 12 months. The longevity depends on how quickly your body breaks down the hyaluronic acid.

Is Restylane® Better Than Juvéderm?

Restylane® and Juvéderm® are made with hyaluronic acid, and both of these dermal fillers help with the most common types of facial wrinkles. Juvéderm® may work better for your fine lines.

What Is Restylane® Best For?

Restylane® is best for wrinkles that are caused by a loss of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid. It is not recommended for wrinkles that are caused by facial expressions, such as horizontal lines across your forehead and vertical lines between your eyes.

What Should You Not Do After Restylane®?

Avoid rubbing the treatment area after your Restylane® injections. This may cause the gel to redistribute which can cause results that are less than optimum.

Does Restylane® Work Immediately?

The Restylane® gel does provide some lift to your skin right after the injections. Full results take up to six weeks.

Are Restylane® Injections Painful?

Restylane® injections are quick and mostly painless. The only sensation is a small pinch when the needle is inserted into your skin.

What Are The Side Effects Of Restylane®?

Side effects of Restylane® products are most often related to the injection process. The most common are redness, itching, swelling, tenderness, pinpoint bleeding, and bruising.
